Christopher Peet has taught art for over twenty years in Newfoundland, Ottawa and Toronto. He has particular expertise and success in developing portfolio material for students who are submitting work for admission evaluation to university architectural programmes, art schools and art focused high schools.
Students have been successful in gaining admission to architectural programmes at Waterloo, Carlton, McGill, Dalhousie and University of Toronto, as well as arts programmes at The Ontario College of Art & Design (OCAD) and Nova Scotia College of Art & Design (NSCAD).
Christopher offers classes in his home studio in the Parkdale neighbourhood of Toronto. In all classes, the intent is to provide students of all age levels with the skills needed to explore and express their own creativity with guidance from the teacher.
Class Details
- Classes are open to children ages ten & up and adults.
- Class sizes are kept to a maximum of 6 students to provide a very individualized and tailored instructional environment.
- Classes consist of drawing and painting (watercolour/acrylic/oil). As students progress individual interest and goals are determined.
- Basic materials (paper, pencils, watercolor) are included.
Introductory lesson packages:
| Two 90 minutes sessions | $50.00 |
| Two 2 hour sessions | $60.00 |
| Note: The 90 minute sessions are most appropriate for younger students whereas the two hour sessions are more suited to teenagers and adults. |
Standard class packages:
| Ten 90 minute sessions | $220.00 |
| Ten 2 hour sessions | $260.00 |
| Note: Rates are based on ten consecutive sessions occurring over a ten week period but individual schedules can be determined based on the student’s needs and class time availability. |
Other Information:
Class fees are paid at time of registration by cash, check, Visa or Mastercard.
Classes and times are scheduled based on sufficient student enrollment and availability.
Street parking is available in the immediate area.
